Clare Pugsley

Director of Development

Clare Pugsley is the Director of Development at the Presidential Precinct. She works closely with colleagues across the organization to strengthen relationships with our individual and institutional supporters.

Clare began her career in philanthropy in New York City, working across higher education, humanitarian, and healthcare sectors. She honed her skills in the area of individual giving at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the International Rescue Committee, and New York University School of Law. Before joining the Presidential Precinct, Clare worked on the Major and Leadership Giving team at the University of Richmond.

Clare received a Bachelor of the Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Mary Washington, and a Master of the Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.

In her free time, you can find Clare struggling to keep up with her two small children, and exploring the Central Virginia region with them and her husband, Chris.
