Sidoine Felix Leudjie has more than eight years of experience in civic leadership, policy design, and implementation. Currently, Sidoine is the National Chair of the Cameroon Debate Circuit. There he focuses on valorizing Cameroon’s rich cultural heritage, diversity, and unity by engaging its youth in discussions. Participants discuss the country’s history and present and propose sustainable solutions to its future through promoting the arts of debate and public speaking in Cameroon’s secondary and tertiary schools. Sidoine also serves with the African Task Force of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth The task force works to facilitate social dialogue, exchange of good practices, and training to ensure better employment and labor migration policy coherence that promotes decent work for young migrants. Sidoine holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management and a degree in Law. He is currently enrolled in a second undergraduate program, in International Relations. He is committed to the active engagement of youth in issues of governance, policy design, and implementation. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Sidoine plans to build a solid leadership system within the Cameroon Debate Circuit that will grow from one generation to the next.
