Ms. Roukhaya is recognized for her strong leadership spirit, enthusiasm, and willingness to be useful for her community. She has a pleasant and emotionally well-rounded disposition, combined with a creative and persuasive mind.

She considers herself as a human rights and gender advocate which she dedicates all her actions. She is graduated from the Academy of Nuremberg where she studied international criminal Law and actually she is about to finish her master degree in human rights.

As a social entrepreneur, she has no limits when it comes to improve living conditions, economic developement and social justice. Her leadership, her vision, her insightful reasoning, her thirst for knowledge, and her productivity are qualities that one encounters in the associative environment and with so much application. All this led her to serve in several associations like YALI Chad and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom.

In 2018 OGOWOL “One Girl-One Week-One Leader a capacity building program for young girls which  aims to build a generation of impactful girls who will be able  to raise their voices and fight for their rights .OGOWOL is also a platform which gives access to opportunities, network and offers a permanent coaching to girls regarding their needs as well as mentorship.

In 2017 she co-founded WOSIC “Women of sciences initiative in Chad” to fight against inequalities and discriminations that are facing girls and women in sciences fields . Also She  a launched in 2019 the platform Endosensitization Chad, a platform which raises awareness on Endometriosis, a gynecological disease as she is affected with. Roukhaya is a fellow of Women to Women, YALI Dakar programs, and the Moremi Initiative.
