Mandela Washington Fellowship - Summer 2019
Riambelo Onjaniaina Rasamimanana holds a master´s degree in Business Law from the Université Catholique de Madagascar and is currently studying at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques Madagascar for a master´s degree in Humanitarian Affairs and Development. Riambelo is the co-founder of REST, a non-governmental organization that helps victims of gender-based violence and empowers Malagasy women. She is also the co-founder and the communication coordinator of ISIKA, an association that works on rural community development. By participating in the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Riambelo hopes to step outside of her comfort zone, gain more skills, improve her projects, and expand them countrywide.
