Lucky Aziken has over nine years of experience in community health and development. Currently, Lucky is the founder and chief executive officer of the Vision Care Givers International Initiative, a frontline nonprofit organization working in eye health, health education, and community development. The organization focuses on creating sustainable access to quality eye and health care. They also have a nonprofit health system network of vision care centers, which provide sustainable vision care services in neglected communities in Nigeria. Lucky holds a Doctor of Optometry. He is committed to fighting blindness and visual impairment globally. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Lucky plans to continue creating sustainable access to quality and affordable eye and health care in countries around the world.
