Mandela Washington Fellowship - Summer 2021
Kangui Kenaime Kodeguene is an expert in election and civic education with eight years’ experience encouraging peaceful youth political participation. Since 2019, he has served as a program officer with the International Republican Institute. In 2020, Kenaime founded the Legotiamasseka Initiative, a youth led-organization that strives to involve young people in decision-making processes in the Central African Republic. He holds a master’s degree in American Civilization. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Kenaime plans to apply his new skills to further integrate youth in his country’s political and decision-making apparatuses.
