Our world needs strong, exemplary and purposeful leaders like Jaime.
Since our inception six years ago, the Presidential Precinct has helped to empower and inspire more than 1,000 rising leaders around the world to strengthen their impact promoting Human Rights & Justice, Women’s Empowerment, Economic Opportunity, Civic Engagement, Good Governance and Cultural Heritage.
As 2019 draws to a close, we're asking you to invest in our visionary leaders as they actively work to transform our world. We need your help in meeting our organization's year-end goal of $200,000.
Lustrabotas, or shoe shiners, can be found by the thousands in the streets of La Paz, Bolivia. Jaime Villalobos is creating opportunities to lift young men and boys out of this profession, often marked by shame, and into a stable career that they can be proud of.
As a civic leader, Jaime is committed to empowering marginalized people and alleviating poverty through his NGO, Hormigón Armado. Bolivian youth are no strangers to unemployment, sexual violence, and poor living conditions, but Jaime’s work advocates for consistent economic opportunities as a new normal.
