Houssein OSMAN ADEN is a dedicated program development professional with a passion for civic engagement and community empowerment. He has more than five years of program development experience. He’s a Technical Coordinator on prevention and mitigation of Gender Based Violence/ attenuation of Female Genital Mutilation Program at Kaizen Company Djibouti. Houssein implemented a project in the villages of Ali-Adde, Holl-Holl and Markazi to safeguard and promote the rights of refugee children in Djibouti. Houssein holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Central China Normal University in Wuhan. He speaks French, English, Somali and Arabic. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, he plans to initiate a sustainable project to empower and promote women and young girl participation on addressing Gender and climate change challenges at local and regional level.
