March 29-30, 2016
The 2016 Global Leadership Forum convened emerging and established leaders from more than 45 countries to explore some of the world's most pressing challenges. Sponsored by the Presidential Precinct and the University of Virginia in partnership with the U.S. Department of State, GLF 2016 facilitated a robust discussion about global leadership in the 21st century.
The Forum welcomed a group of more than 20 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) participants, as well as more than 30 Foreign Fulbright students and scholars from a wide range of host universities and institutions. Local American alumni of State Department-sponsored exchanges were invited to attend. Forum participants included faculty, students, and staff from the University of Virginia and William & Mary, as well as representatives from civil society and the private sector.
