Elfi Kashori Martial has over five years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on peacebuilding, leadership, and youth empowerment. Currently, Elfi is a training officer and coordinator assistant at Congo Peace Network where he focuses on coordinating training and project teams. Elfi has initiated a network called Empower People Network, which aims to create a supportive environment where women and men use their potential to make the world a better place. Elfi holds a degree in Business Management and has been trained on the United Nations Security Council resolution 1325 by Folke Bernadotte Academy, a Swedish agency for peace, security, and development. Elfi is driven by his commitment to add value to others. He desires to create sustainable peace in his country and the Great Lakes region. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Elfi plans to continue his work in youth and women empowerment, and capacity-building with the network he has initiated to give equal opportunities to youth and women to learn, become their best and develop their community.
