Danai Chirawu is a Zimbabwean lawyer working at an all-female organization, Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association. She has been working in the women’s movement for two years focusing on women’s sexual reproductive health rights and family law. She has specialized skills in litigation, advocacy, research, and community legal training and is interested in project implementation and management. She has written many articles and has been part of publications which discuss issues affecting women and the law in Zimbabwe. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans on continuing with her activism through the law, utilizing her new network base to improve impact and establishing more refined networks in Zimbabwe.
