Mandela Washington Fellowship - Summer 2018

“If you have passion, you will find the resources needed to get things done.”

Patricia Araba Annan is a women’s and children’s rights advocate. She holds Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ghana and Master of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Cape Coast. She has worked to promote women’s participation in governance and decision-making processes. She is the founder of Women Aspire, a platform that encourages youth to take the initiative, impact their world, and improves the lives of others. Currently, she is working on My Body, My Voice, My Choices are my Own. This project aims to equip young girls with information on sexual and reproductive health and rights, so they can own their bodies, make their own choices, and feel comfortable speaking out if they experience abuse.
