“I’m inspired by the indigenous women’s and girls’ voices.”

Aehshatou Manu is the gender and advocacy officer at the Lelewal Foundation and also the women national wing president of the Mbororo Social and Cultural Development Association (MBOSCUDA) since 2014. She is a holder of an LLB in Law from the University of Yaoundé in Soa. She has been involved in community development and human rights activism since 2010. Aehshatou empowers indigenous women and girls through income generating activities and encourages the acquisition of new skills to reduce poverty and achieve the objectives of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
