Law graduate Adegboye Bamise Abdu-Salam Okoro is about to obtain his master’s degree in diplomacy, protocol, and public relations. With more than five years of experience in the fields of peace, security, and migration in Africa, particularly in the Sahel, he has collaborated with local associations and international organizations on these themes. After being designated Planet Country Champion in 2021, he organized and moderated panels about Peace and Security in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. Passionate about geopolitics and conflict resolution, he plans at the end of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, to create in collaboration with other experts in the field an academy called the African Geopolitics Academy.
