Adam Dicko is a social entrepreneur, currently serving as the executive director of the Association of Youth for Active Citizenship and Democracy, where she focuses on civic engagement and human rights. She leads a citizen movement with over 20,000 volunteer members, 57 employees, and more than 17 projects. With over 15 years of experience in volunteer work and seven years of professional experience in sustainable development and civic engagement, she supports communities in developing tools and skills to strengthen democracy, participatory governance, and anti-corruption efforts. She is passionate about fundamental freedoms. Adam holds a master’s degree in business law and a diploma in communications technologies. Following the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Adam hopes to gain the needed skills to lead and manage civic engagement projects and enhance her ability to work on a team, collaborate with people from different backgrounds, and promote best practices in civic engagement and democracy.
