Awat Qadir holds a Ph.D. in private law and has an extensive career in public service and law. He served as a mayor of multiple districts within the Sulaymaniyah Province of Iraq, before becoming a barrister for several years. From 2012 to 2024, Awat worked as a part-time lecturer at Cihan University in Sulaymaniyah. Since 2014, he has been working as a judge, gaining experience in various courts, including roles as a personal status judge, Asaish judge of Sulaymaniyah, criminal judge, investigation judge, head of the felony court, and currently, the president of the appeal court of Kirkuk, Garmian.
