Mandela Washington Fellowship - Summer 2019
Abdourahman Omar Walieh has more than six years of experience in development with a focus on health and education programming management. Abdourahman is currently a capacity building specialist for the USAID funded Djiboutian Workforce Development project implemented by the Education Development Center. Abdourahman holds a master’s degree in Management, Commerce, and Development from the University of Djibouti, and currently volunteers with the Dogleh Nadive (Clean Neighborhood Environment) organization. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Abdurahman plans to continue learning about best practices in civic engagement and to serve the needs of his community through civic engagement programming.
