Isabel Zeca Paulo Bueio was born in Benguela, where she still lives. She has seven years of experience promoting human rights at the community level. She primarily focuses her efforts in negotiation, meditation and conflict resolution. She has a degree in Business and Management from Jean Piaget Institute (Instituto Polictecnico Superior Jean Piaget) in Benguela. Isabel has worked as a reporter and radio correspondent as well as on legislative elections and transparency issues. She is currently focused on women’s empowerment and fighting domestic violence, which will be her focus upon her return to Angola. Her motto is, “It’s not what you say, but how you say it that makes all the difference.”
