Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative

The Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative brings 250 business and social entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean to the United States in the fall, to collaborate with their counterparts in businesses and civil society organizations in 24 cities across the United States. Through this exchange program, Fellows advance their entrepreneurial ideas and build leadership skills to effectively contribute to social and economic development in their communities.

The Presidential Precinct is pleased to host 10 YLAI Professional Fellows in Charlottesville in 2017. These dynamic young entrepreneurs from 10 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region spend four weeks in “entrepreneur-in-residence” placements with some of Charlottesville’s leading small businesses, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
