Online Course Convenes Over 100 Global Leaders
The diversity and expertise of this group of online learners speaks to the ongoing power and interest of Presidential Precinct Network members to learn from each other, share experiences, and engage with expert faculty from Precinct partner institutions.

Two months after launching our online training pilot program in partnership with the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, the four week course on “Fundamentals of Project Planning & Management” is coming to a close. Course participants have sharpened their existing skills and gained new ones in such areas as stakeholder analysis, project scoping, risk analysis, planning for ambiguity, and moving from planning to action. Click below to learn more about our excitement in this growing field of online course programs.

WHAT WE’RE READING
James B. Murray, Jr. the Precinct’s founder, shares an article that he hopes may be interesting or thought provoking for the Precinct’s constituencies. In particular we hope to attract the attention of young leaders from around the world who may look to the Precinct for an unbiased, non-judgmental window into current thinking on democracy, the rule of law and best political practices. We will post each article on the Precinct Network in the spirit of stimulating dialogue and critical thinking.

Get out of girls’ way

At the Precinct we are currently planning a major global forum on the empowerment of women. Young leaders and powerful women from around the world will gather here in November 2017. Look for more details in the months ahead.

In the meantime we set the stage for November with this essay by performer and activist Yvonne Chaka Chaka.”
