Ahmed is the Founder and Executive Director of Prisoners’ Rights Advocacy Initiative, where he focuses on advocating for the rights of prisoners and rehabilitating them. He is also the founder of Q-Madi Taekwondo Club, where underprivileged street children are transformed into responsible champions.

Ahmed spent 6 weeks at the Presidential Precinct as a Mandela Washington Fellow. The Mandela Washington Fellowship is the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which empowers young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking.
